About the Role
East Partnership is searching for a skilled Corporate Development Manager to drive major growth and capital strategies at a rapidly expanding company. This high-visibility role will work closely with executive leadership, including direct collaboration with the CFO, CEO, and Board, to manage and execute key capital allocation, M&A, and strategic partnership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer end-to-end management of mergers and acquisitions, from opportunity identification to due diligence and transaction completion.
- Take the lead in capital raising activities including debt and equity funding, engaging lenders and investors, and crafting capital structures.
- Oversee comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis for potential acquisitions and investments.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, acting as a core liaison between the business and external advisors.
- Support strategic decision making by synthesizing market trends, FP&A reports, and competitive intelligence for the executive team and Board.
- Support both organic and inorganic growth strategies to align with the company’s long-range objectives.
- Prepare and deliver board-level presentations on ongoing corporate development projects and capital activities.
Candidate Profile
- Typically brings more than 7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or corporate finance.
- Robust expertise in financial modelling and valuation is essential, alongside practical exposure to structuring, analysis, and execution of capital initiatives.
- Experience in debt and equity capital markets and a successful track record of transaction execution are highly valued.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline are required; credentials such as CFA or CA are a strong advantage.
