About the Role
Join our Supply Chain Logistics team as a part-time Transport Contracts & Performance Analyst, working three days per week. This permanent role is available in either Sydney or Melbourne as a job-share with a colleague covering Wednesday and Thursday, enabling important collaboration, training, and alignment during overlapping days.
The transport and logistics industry is rapidly evolving with advances in technology, changing regulations, and rising sustainability demands. Coupled with external challenges like extreme weather, labor shortages, and global disruptions, success demands a flexible, data-driven logistics network. In this position, you will contribute to maintaining an agile and efficient network that safeguards premium customer service and boosts our competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly SOX RCTI contractor payment audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Review and analyze periodic contractor rate changes including Fuel Levy, Rise & Fall, and other agreed adjustments.
- Coordinate and update approved contractor rates within the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Generate logistics and transport reports, including those on Unsettled Loads and Carrier Payments.
- Assist in preparing and distributing documentation related to transport tenders.
- Support evaluation of transport tender responses covering operational and commercial aspects.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated strong analytical and data management capabilities.
- Familiarity with transport rate structures.
- Experience with SAP and TMS software in logistics or supply chain environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders within the company and with third-party logistics providers.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced operational setting.
