Job description

Job Overview

DT Infrastructure is recruiting Contracts Administrators for a significant renewable energy project located in North Queensland. This is an on-site role based in Townsville or available for candidates from Brisbane prepared for a FIFO schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off. Working under the Commercial and Contracts Managers, the successful candidate will oversee administrative tasks linked to subcontracts, procurement, cost management, and commercial functions, ensuring smooth project execution from contract award to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontract administration including variations, progress claims, and payment schedules.
  • Assist with procurement processes, tender evaluation, and subcontract documentation management.
  • Maintain commercial registers and cost control systems alongside accurate project records.
  • Draft contract correspondence, official notices, and produce commercial reporting as required.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in Contracts Administration, Quantity Surveying, or commercial roles within civil construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with subcontract management, procurement, and contractual processes.
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain precise commercial documentation.
  • Effective communication skills with an aptitude for establishing strong team and stakeholder relationships.
