About the Role

The ATLANTIC Hotel Heidelberg, newly opened in March 2024, stands as the city’s first high-rise built to Passive House standards. Situated adjacent to the train station and opposite the Heidelberg Congress Center, its convenient location offers business travelers, conference guests, and tourists easy access via direct S-Bahn connections to the Old Town and Castle. The hotel boasts 310 rooms and suites, a wellness and fitness area, and eight versatile function rooms including an impressive 350 m² ballroom with panoramic city views.

Our elegant gastronomy venue on the 15th floor features a restaurant, rooftop bar, and attached terrace where guests and locals can enjoy excellent cuisine while overlooking Heidelberg.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, high-quality service to a discerning and diverse clientele in a busy, high-profile venue.
• Manage all preparatory and follow-up service tasks to ensure smooth operations and readiness of your workspace.
• Strictly observe quality and hygiene regulations in compliance with HACCP standards, prioritizing safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate effectively with team members to maintain seamless service and create memorable culinary experiences for guests.

Desired Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or previous experience in upscale or innovative restaurant settings.
• Knowledge of products and adept at sales techniques.
• Demonstrated empathy towards guests’ needs and a genuine pleasure in hosting.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and dedicated to professional excellence.
• Fluent in German or English.

Additional Information

• Compensation is based on the pay scale from Entgeltgruppe 1 to Entgeltgruppe 3, ranging between €2,383 and €2,958 gross per month, with potential for over-scale pay depending on experience and qualification.
