A reputable manufacturing company based in Penrose, Auckland, is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to join its senior leadership team. This crucial role will have ownership of financial metrics and provide valuable commercial and operational insights to enhance profitability, cash flow, and overall performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of monthly actuals, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Deliver thorough analysis to support informed decision-making and drive measurable improvements
• Influence profit outcomes and cash delivery while backing growth initiatives
• Lead and mentor a small finance team
• Enhance financial governance and maintain the integrity of the company’s finances

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or an equivalent qualification
• Extensive leadership experience in commercial finance
• Background in manufacturing or operational environments
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and partnership with stakeholders
• A practical and proactive approach suitable for a fast-moving operational context
