Commercial Account Executive

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Farm Account Executive to join a well-established insurance brokerage located in Dungarvan, County Waterford. This is a permanent full-time position where you will manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and agricultural insurance clients, offering professional advice and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the renewal process adhering to established procedures and timelines.
• Gain a thorough understanding of clients' businesses to provide tailored insurance advice.
• Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients.
• Grow an existing portfolio of commercial and farm insurance business.
• Achieve agreed individual income targets.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Manage premium collections and monitor aged debts within the portfolio.
• Maintain precise and current client and policy documentation.
• Collaborate with insurers to secure appropriate coverage at competitive rates.
• Adhere to Central Bank of Ireland regulations and company policies.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance roles.
• Hold CIP qualification or Grandfathered status in Commercial General Insurance.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in commercial or agricultural insurance sectors.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of the insurance market, products, and technical aspects.
• Exhibit the ability to assess client requirements and deliver suitable advice.
• Showcase excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Possess a proactive, adaptable, and client-centric mindset.
