About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Game Developer specializing in Cocos2d-x to contribute to projects aimed at enhancing next-generation AI systems. This remote contract position involves crafting and refining game features that support AI learning through high-quality, realistic input. Prior AI experience is not necessary—your proficiency with Cocos2d-x and game development is what counts.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enhance game mechanics and logic using the Cocos2d-x framework for both prototype and production projects.
- Partner closely with client teams to deliver accurate, real-world data to assist AI training procedures.
- Create, adjust, and debug game assets and scenes tailored to varied training objectives.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of Cocos2d-x code to ensure stable, engaging gameplay.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of code and workflows for both technical stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Communicate openly and effectively through written and verbal channels to update project progress and address challenges.
- Iterate on deliverables based on feedback, continuously refining outputs to support AI development requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Cocos2d-x with practical experience in 2D game creation workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to game development tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams within fast-paced settings.
