Role Overview
The Clinical Research & Development Facilitator position is integral to the Research Office at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, working closely with colleagues at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Research Office. You will contribute to delivering an efficient service supporting research development, setup, management, and execution within the Heart Lung and Critical Care Clinical Group at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities
The role offers extensive exposure across the clinical research pipeline including pre-award support for research grants, event and campaign coordination, assisting with sponsorship activities, and supporting hosted feasibility assessments. The facilitator will support the Research Development Team by facilitating commercially funded grant applications, performing administrative tasks including costing and funding application guidance, and helping promote research activities and funding opportunities internally and externally via events and campaigns.
