About Precision for Medicine
Precision for Medicine is a specialized CRO focusing on Oncology and Rare Diseases, renowned for a strong culture and excellent CRA retention rates surpassing industry norms. We are expanding our team in Germany to include Clinical Research Associates at various experience levels.
Role Overview
As a CRA, you will manage one to two clinical studies, gaining deep expertise in protocols while maintaining a balanced travel schedule to promote work-life harmony. The smaller CRO environment allows you direct influence and support from your management.
Candidate Profile
- Composure and responsiveness when unexpected situations arise.
- Meticulous preparation ahead of investigator meetings, site visits, and team updates.
- Resourcefulness in solving challenges creatively and swiftly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify potential risks in studies and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Ownership of quality and results in your responsibilities.
- Competence in managing conflicts using effective resolution methods.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor clinical trial progress at investigative sites ensuring adherence to protocols, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory standards. Activities include identifying investigators, assisting regulatory submissions, conducting pre-study and initiation visits, and overall study coordination.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in scientific or healthcare-related fields.
- Minimum one year of CRA experience within CROs, pharmaceutical, biotech sectors, or equivalent site management roles.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities; team-oriented mindset.
- Client-focused approach.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50-60%, including overnight stays; international travel possible for senior roles.
- Fluency in English and German languages.
- Experience working in oncology clinical research.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to study start-up processes.
- Experience with CAR-T therapies, first-in-human, or phase III clinical trials.
- Familiarity with medical device clinical studies.
