Role Overview

The Cleaning Specialist operates in a full-time hybrid capacity from Calgary, AB. Duties are split between on-site cleaning tasks and remote activities such as scheduling, reporting, and completing online training. Key on-site responsibilities involve comprehensive cleaning of residential and commercial locations, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies. The role occasionally requires specialized tasks like window cleaning, carpet care, and intensive cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas. The Specialist is expected to adhere to preset checklists and safety guidelines, utilize company-provided supplies and equipment, and alert supervisors to any maintenance or safety concerns. Interaction with supervisors, recording work completion, and sometimes coordinating appointments remotely are also integral aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in both commercial and residential cleaning, capable of strictly following detailed cleaning procedures across diverse settings.
• Experience with home and window cleaning, demonstrating cautious handling of client property and attention to surface finishes.
• Familiarity with carpet care practices, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and employing correct cleaning agents and machines.
• Strong detail orientation, effective time management, and ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of fundamental health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including safe application of cleaning chemicals and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
• Dependable transportation means to access clients’ locations within Calgary and commitment to a consistent full-time schedule.
• Good communication abilities coupled with a professional and courteous demeanor towards clients and colleagues.
• Preference given to candidates with prior cleaning experience in residential or commercial environments; however, formal training will be provided for qualified individuals.
