Job Overview

This on-call cleaner role is based in Welland, Ontario, Canada, and involves field-based work with remote arrangements. Although the position is remote, candidates must reside locally to attend meetings, training, or company events when necessary.

About the Role

Our cleaning team plays a vital role in preparing residential properties, whether after tenant move-outs, maintenance, renovations, or for regular upkeep. Assignments include move-out, turnover, post-maintenance cleaning, and sometimes housekeeping in occupied homes. We value dependable cleaners who are detail-oriented, can work independently, and take pride in their quality work.

Typical Duties

• Conduct move-out cleaning for rental properties
• Perform cleaning for vacant unit turnovers
• Execute deep cleaning after maintenance, repairs, or renovations
• Prepare homes before new residents move in
• Provide housekeeping services for occupied residences as scheduled
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and common spaces thoroughly
• Clean inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, windowsills, and other detailed areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove debris effectively
• Complete final quality inspections before concluding assignments
• Capture completion photographs when required
• Report damages, maintenance concerns, or cleaning issues that need follow-up
• Update assignment status using a mobile work app
• Travel directly between scheduled properties

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum two years of paid professional cleaning experience
• Capable of handling residential cleaning tasks independently
• Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping tasks
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results
• Ability to recognize and report issues professionally
• Effective communication skills with clients and operations staff
• Own a reliable vehicle and cleaning supplies/equipment
• Possess a smartphone capable of GPS and mobile app usage, photo-taking, and job updates
• Basic proficiency in English communication
• Dependable attendance and organizational skills

• Residential turnover cleaning and property turnover preparation
