Position Overview

We are seeking a Cleaner to join Boylesports, tasked with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across our premises to create a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of various areas such as restrooms, betting zones, and communal spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Execute routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to high standards.
Disinfect and clean restrooms, ensuring sinks, toilets, and floors are hygienic.
Empty waste containers and replace liners regularly.
Maintain the tidiness of betting machines and gaming sections.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and replenish as necessary.
Adhere strictly to established cleaning schedules and protocols.
Comply with health and safety regulations and internal guidelines.
Promptly alert management to any maintenance concerns or potential safety issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is desirable but not mandatory.
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the store location.
Ability to perform the role with minimal supervision and complete tasks efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness.
Effective communication skills coupled with a positive and proactive attitude.
Capacity to follow instructions carefully.

Working Schedule

The role entails 4 to 7 workdays per week depending on store demands, with daily shifts lasting 1 to 2 hours. Work occurs outside of Boylesports operational hours.

Additional Information

Joining the team includes life assurance coverage, and enrollment in the company's pension plan is available on an optional basis.
