Civil Site Inspector

About the Role

IRTH Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Site Inspector to oversee and inspect civil and structural activities on-site. This role entails ensuring all work complies with the approved designs, project specifications, authority regulations, and high-quality standards. The candidate will also assist the Resident Engineer with project supervision and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of civil and structural elements including the substructure and superstructure to confirm adherence to approved plans, specifications, and method statements.
• Supervise site operations to ensure compliance with regulatory authority requirements and maintain quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors and subcontractors to manage inspections and daily site processes.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests and monitor approvals from consulting teams.
• Identify and document site issues, non-compliances, and initiate prompt corrective measures.
• Verify that all materials and workmanship align with approved quality standards.
• Keep detailed and accurate documentation, reports, and inspection records.
• Support daily supervision and coordination duties alongside the Resident Engineer.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on site.
• Assist with snagging, de-snagging, and project handover activities.
• Possess substantial expertise in substructure construction; particularly proficient in piling and shoring works and their inspection according to project quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil and structural supervision roles.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working within the UAE, ideally Dubai.
• Proven background in consultant-side supervision of high-rise residential tower projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of substructure and superstructure construction processes.
• Strong ability to monitor site processes ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Experienced in issuing site observations and managing coordination with contractors.
• Excellent skills in documentation, reporting, and communication.
