Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated Childcare Practitioners for our Navan, Co. Meath location to support baby, toddler, and pre-school age groups. These roles are available for immediate hire, subject to standard vetting procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment ensuring children’s welfare
• Provide comprehensive care addressing the holistic needs of each child
• Engage children with appropriate developmentally-focused learning activities
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, well-equipped, organized, culturally sensitive, and safe
• Observe and document children’s developmental progress accurately
• Communicate effectively with children, their parents, and fellow staff members
• Adhere to established policies and procedures to uphold best practices

Required Qualifications

• A sincere and genuine passion for working with children
• Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent credential
• At least one year of hands-on experience in a childcare environment
• Additional training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous professional growth throughout their career

Additional Requirements

Applicants must provide written references and successfully undergo Garda Vetting. For those who have resided outside Ireland for more than six consecutive months since turning 18, Police Clearance documentation is also mandatory. Proof of eligibility to work within the European Union is required.
