About the Role
Rama Medical is hiring a seasoned Chief Strategy Officer to join its executive team and steer enterprise strategy, long-range business planning, and high-impact growth programs. This leadership position focuses on setting strategic direction, spotting expansion opportunities, coordinating enterprise execution, and keeping the organization positioned strongly as market conditions change.
The right candidate will bring deep analytical ability, a collaborative leadership style, and substantial experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, and executive partnership to support durable growth. The role offers the chance to shape company-wide decisions and influence the organization’s future priorities and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement the enterprise strategy so it stays aligned with long-term business goals and executive priorities.
- Drive corporate planning efforts, including growth roadmaps, market expansion plans, and review of the business portfolio.
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to set priorities and turn strategic intent into practical initiatives.
- Recruit, develop, and guide a strong strategy team while encouraging collaboration, innovation, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
- Analyze market shifts, customer behavior, competitor activity, industry changes, and economic factors to surface opportunities and manage risk.
- Own enterprise-wide strategic programs that improve organizational performance, operational effectiveness, and long-term competitiveness.
- Coordinate with leaders in Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Technology, and Human Resources to keep execution aligned with strategy.
- Create strategy frameworks, success metrics, and executive dashboards to track progress and support decision-making.
- Review new business opportunities, partnerships, market-entry options, and investment priorities that can support sustainable growth.
- Lead transformation efforts that strengthen operational excellence, innovation, and cross-functional alignment.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, strategic reviews, and recommendations for leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Set up governance practices that improve strategic execution, accountability, and enterprise alignment.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a similar field is required; an MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of increasing leadership experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, management consulting, business operations, corporate development, or executive roles.
- Strong history of designing and executing enterprise strategies that deliver growth, operational excellence, and lasting business performance.
- Advanced capability in strategic planning, business transformation, market analysis, organizational development, corporate performance management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience managing distributed teams and driving enterprise-wide initiatives in complex organizations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, influence, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical, financial, strategic, and problem-solving skills with a data-led approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, financial modeling systems, enterprise planning platforms, analytics solutions, and executive reporting tools.
- Proven ability to lead change while balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day execution.
Preferred Background
- Executive experience in technology, SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, consumer products, professional services, telecommunications, or similar growth-focused industries.
- Experience with corporate transformation, strategic planning, mergers and integrations, market expansion, digital transformation, or enterprise innovation initiatives.
- Prior partnership with executive teams and Boards of Directors on corporate strategy and long-term planning.
- Track record of building scalable strategy functions that lift performance, strengthen competitive position, and accelerate sustainable growth.
