Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position based at 2310 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804. The weekly schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Role Responsibilities
- Accurately capture and input professional charges into the system
- Assist in collecting outstanding patient balances
- Support designated practices in resolving "front desk" related claim issues
- Participate in relevant meetings aimed at addressing charge-related topics
- Collaborate with local revenue cycle teams to identify trends in claim denials
- Provide answers and offer assistance to healthcare providers and office staff as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Familiarity with CPT coding standards
- Proficient in computer operations
- Experience with healthcare software such as Athenahealth, Cerner, Ingenious Med, and EPIC is preferred
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Field of study preferably in healthcare, business, finance, or related areas
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in a hospital or physician practice environment
- Competence with PC-based spreadsheet applications
Licenses and Certifications
- Having a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification is advantageous

Compensation
The pay range for this role is from $15.69 to $25.10 per hour.
