About the Role
Mitre 10 MEGA Whangarei is a thriving local business committed to offering exceptional customer service, quality products, and expert advice for a smooth DIY experience. We are seeking a checkout operator passionate about customer engagement to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team in our large-format store.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Operate the checkout efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Work flexibly across daytime shifts on weekdays and weekends, requiring availability to adapt to varied hours.
- Handle pressure with composure and think quickly to resolve issues or inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Contribute a positive, proactive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Previous experience operating a checkout and in retail is essential.
- Availability for an immediate start is preferred.
