Job Overview

We are hiring motivated and energetic Maintenance professionals who excel in delivering exceptional customer service and providing innovative solutions to guests. This opportunity is available at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi.

Primary Duties

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as required, specifically related to carpentry within the hotel premises.
• Handle day-to-day carpentry maintenance issues arising within the hotel building.
• Assemble and fix shelving units and cabinetry.
• Repair door locks, security devices, various window types, and glazing elements.
• Use woodworking machinery and conduct minimal general building activities.
• Remove and replace any damaged or defective parts of wooden structures using hand tools.
• Finish woodwork and wallboard surfaces with painting, paneling, and hand tools.
• Fill cracks and imperfections in plaster or plasterboard surfaces and sand them smooth.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven skills as a carpenter complemented by a high school diploma.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building maintenance, workplace safety, and proper lifting and handling procedures.
• Ability to identify faults and implement corrective measures.
• Proficiency in English communication.
