Role Overview

We are looking for a proficient CAD Rebar Detailer to join our Dubai-based team. This role entails generating detailed rebar drawings and specifications for reinforced concrete frameworks by leveraging advanced CAD technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Create precise and thorough rebar drawings via CAD software tailored to various reinforced concrete projects.
Analyze and interpret structural blueprints and guidelines to produce detailed rebar plans.
Calculate and determine rebar dimensions, quantities, and placement in line with project requirements and regulatory codes.
Collaborate closely with structural engineers and construction personnel to ensure the correct execution of rebar designs.
Examine and confirm rebar drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
Compile material requisitions and quantity estimations for procurement activities.
Identify and resolve design conflicts or inconsistencies related to rebar configurations.
Stay informed regarding the most current building codes, standards, and best practices in rebar detailing.
Maintain organized digital records and documentation for all ongoing projects.

Candidate Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Between 2 to 3 years of practical experience in rebar detailing or a similar function.
Expertise in CAD applications such as AutoCAD and Revit.
In-depth understanding of rebar detailing and reinforced concrete construction.
Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and specifications with precision.
Strong numerical and spatial reasoning capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
Familiarity with building codes and standards concerning reinforced concrete.
Understanding of prevailing construction practices and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage several projects concurrently.
Relevant certification in CAD software or rebar detailing is advantageous.
Open to adjusting to local construction practices within Dubai and the UAE.

Additional Details

This is an on-role, long-term employment opportunity.
Immediate availability for joining is highly preferred.
Candidates with 5 or more years of BIM-related experience are desirable.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is essential.
Strong abilities in clash detection and coordination are required.
Knowledge of Middle East building codes and standards with LOD ranging from 200 to 500 is advantageous.
Excellent team working and problem-solving skills are expected.
Adherence to the company's policy and ISO standards is mandatory.
