Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Business Development Manager is charged with growing Clinch’s market presence and generating high-quality loan originations through a network of accredited brokers and professional connections.
Work Environment
This position requires full-time office presence in a sales trading desk setting, five days a week. The role involves local and interstate travel to attend financial services and property conferences where the candidate will represent Clinch at trade stands. Regular attendance at networking events, including those after hours, is also expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, real estate agents, accountants, and other referrers.
- Educate intermediaries about Clinch’s product offerings, lending appetite, and credit criteria.
- Attend and participate in industry events and networking sessions to boost company visibility.
- Provide consistent updates on sales pipeline, conversion rates, broker feedback, and competitor insights.
- Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure seamless loan processing.
- Meet monthly and quarterly targets for loan originations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Comprehensive training is provided; newcomers to the industry are encouraged to apply.
- Previous sales experience in financial services, real estate, or professional sectors is beneficial.
- Experience with non-bank or home loan lenders is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads through B2B outbound calls and networking.
- Knowledge of property transactions, home loans, and valuations is advantageous.
