About the Role
KPMG Jamaica's delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) based in Kingston, provides back-office support to KPMG United States. As a Business Analyst, you will identify business requirements and propose effective solutions that add value, working within the Technology & Data team. This role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and document underlying business challenges that need resolution.
- Ensure clear, organized documentation so stakeholders at all levels can easily comprehend requirements.
- Develop workflow charts and diagrams, evaluate system capabilities, and write detailed specifications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process workflows.
- Recommend improved controls by pinpointing operational pain points and refining procedures.
- Communicate timely information to appropriate personnel to maintain user confidence and safeguard operations.
- Analyze and interpret research data to provide integrated business analyses and forecasts for strategic decisions.
- Validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare repeatable, insightful reporting to highlight key business trends and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and facilitate client meetings to thoroughly understand process areas, aiding process redesign and communication needs.
- Develop stakeholder and RACI matrix dashboards across multiple business processes.
- Collect and analyze relevant materials such as prior documentation, regulatory changes, and organizational shifts.
- Understand and deliver within the requirements and milestones of Delivery Model Enablement (DME).
- Support organizational change management through impact analysis and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders while managing relationships productively.
- Provide timely issue escalation and suggest corrective actions to leadership and clients.
- Prepare speeches, presentations, and communications for senior management.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in General Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum three years of experience in business analysis or business process design roles.
- Proficiency at an intermediate level with online and standalone design and presentation software.

Additional Information and Terms
- JESS operates under a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be physically present in the office at least five days each month, with potential for additional days if business demands.
- Employees are expected to utilize KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to assist with daily tasks.
- The role involves working predominantly in a paperless environment, leveraging information systems for all data access and task completion throughout the day.
- Working extended hours occasionally, including public holidays, may be necessary.
- This position is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and resilience.

Bachelor's Degree
