Job Description and Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for projects.
Devise Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flowcharts, and functional specifications.
Evaluate existing business processes and suggest improvements to optimize workflows.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers through all stages of the project lifecycle.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including formulating test cases and tracking defects.
Oversee application deployment, production rollouts, and post-launch support activities.
Manage change requests, coordinate software releases, and implement application enhancements.
Deliver functional support services encompassing user training and knowledge transfer to ensure effective system usage.
Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and IT project management best practices to ensure timely and successful deliverables.

Required Skills and Expertise

Proven expertise in business analysis and gathering comprehensive requirements.
Experience producing detailed Functional Specifications, BRD/FRD, and related documentation.
Ability to analyze business workflows and document processes clearly.
Hands-on experience in conducting UAT with preparation of test cases.
Strong understanding of SDLC and full IT project lifecycle management.
Familiarity with application implementation and ongoing production support.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, change control, and release coordination.

Banking Domain Knowledge

Candidates should possess solid knowledge in one or more of the following banking sectors:

Core Banking Systems
Cash Management
Payment Systems
Trade Finance
Loans and Deposits
Treasury Operations
Interest Calculation Methods
Credit Risk Management
Accounting Procedures

Additional Information

Required experience: 5 to 8 years in relevant roles.
Preferred notice period: Immediate to maximum 15 days.
Work Location: Chennai, India.
Final interview will be conducted face-to-face.
