About the Role
We are looking for an experienced BIM professional with strong MEPF expertise to support model development, coordination, and project delivery. The role focuses on building accurate BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems, while helping ensure smooth collaboration across design and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage detailed 3D BIM models for MEPF systems using standard BIM tools.
- Work with architects, structural teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders to align MEPF systems with the overall building design.
- Carry out clash checks through BIM coordination software such as Navisworks, identify conflicts early, and support their resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and refresh BIM standards, templates, families, and libraries for MEPF work.
- Contribute to company BIM protocols and execution plans.
- Produce and review conceptual drawings, GFC drawings, shop drawings, fabrication models, and as-built models derived from BIM information.
- Support quantity take-offs and cost estimation by extracting dependable model data.
- Provide troubleshooting support and guidance to project teams using BIM tools and processes.
- Assist with training sessions on BIM workflows and MEPF modeling practices when required.
- Ensure models and deliverables meet project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation needed for approvals, coordination meetings, and project tracking.
Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate should have hands-on experience in Revit and should be comfortable working from the Bengaluru office. This position requires close coordination across disciplines and practical knowledge of MEPF modeling in a project environment.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil disciplines. The role is intended for candidates with at least 2 years of experience, including mandatory hands-on work in Revit. The work location is onsite at Sobha Corporate Office, Bengaluru.
