BigData Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned BigData Administrator with extensive experience in managing enterprise-scale data platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of Big Data technologies and cloud services to maintain and optimize high-performance data infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Administrate and engineer solutions within the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, and HDP.
• Design and maintain Apache Kafka environments tailored to high-throughput data streaming applications.
• Manage and optimize Redis and MongoDB clusters ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Implement and support searches using OpenSearch and Elasticsearch platforms.
• Administer Apache NiFi workflows and manage AWS EMR clusters with a solid grasp of AWS cloud services.
• Perform Linux system administration with strong scripting abilities in Shell and Python to automate processes.
• Ensure robust data security by implementing Kerberos authentication, data access governance, and other security protocols.
• Handle high-volume, low-latency systems effectively, preferably in domains such as payments or trading.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will bring 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Big Data or Data Platform Engineering within enterprise settings, demonstrating both technical expertise and operational reliability.
