Role Summary
We seek a seasoned Bid Manager for Integrated Solutions to guide the entire bidding process, drive digital innovation in bid execution, and coordinate across business development, technical, and commercial units. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in bid strategizing, digital delivery technologies, data analytics, and AI-powered solutions with a proven history in infrastructure, engineering, or consulting industries. Preference will be given to current SJ employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end bid submissions, from identifying opportunities to proposal finalization.
- Formulate tailored bid strategies, including win themes and value propositions aligned with client needs and evaluation criteria.
- Organize and lead bid kick-off meetings, strategy workshops, storyboarding sessions, and compliance checks.
- Maintain bid schedules, compliance documentation, and submission trackers to ensure punctual and compliant delivery.
- Conduct post-bid reviews to learn and enhance future bid quality and success rates.
- Promote adoption of digital platforms and tools in bid workflows, such as digital dashboards.
- Utilize AI and automation to streamline content creation, bid production efficiency, data analysis, and quality control.
- Keep updated on emerging technologies including AI/ML, digital twins, autonomous systems, and smart infrastructure for competitive advantage.
- Assist business development through market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence gathering specific to regions and sectors.
- Monitor and report on business development progress, pipeline status, and major milestones.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership decision support.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners including joint ventures and subconsultants.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in bid management, proposal development, business development, or project coordination within engineering, infrastructure, construction, or consulting sectors.
- Proven record of directing complex multidisciplinary bids for major infrastructure, transport, urban development, or mega-project programs.
Technical and Digital Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience using BIM and digital engineering platforms.
- Familiarity with 3D visualization and rendering tools.
- Competence in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard software.
- Understanding of AI and automation applications related to bid creation, content management, and operational workflows.
