Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests warmly, embodying the characteristic Mama Shelter spirit from the moment they arrive.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes while creatively enhancing each drink's presentation and flavor.
• Expertly craft signature cocktails with attention to detail and artistic flair that make every sip distinctive and enjoyable.
• Advise guests about menu selections, recommend beverages, and confidently address queries regarding specials and drink options.
• Ensure timely and accurate beverage service, maintaining quality even during peak hours.
• Establish genuine rapport with patrons, remembering their preferences to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked bar area, including garnishes and glassware, always prepared for service.
• Monitor inventory levels, replenish supplies proactively, and coordinate with the Head Bartender to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene standards, and responsible alcohol service policies to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction.
• Handle payment processing accurately and manage tabs securely to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across service and kitchen teams to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences.
• Contribute innovative ideas to continuously improve the bar's offerings and atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting, demonstrating the ability to maintain service flow and energy.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, drink recipes, and bar equipment operation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging guests and creating memorable moments.
• Ability to manage demanding situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Multitasking proficiency, including drink preparation, tab management, and inventory control.
• Proactive attitude with the initiative to identify and complete necessary tasks without prompting.
