Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Necker equipment without any operational disruptions or quality issues.
• Perform regular quality inspections by examining, testing, and measuring products from assigned machinery using specialized gauges and instruments, recording all relevant data.
• Monitor camera systems, analyze rejected items detected by cameras, and report findings to the area team leader.
• Handle setup, adjustments, repairs, maintenance, and overhaul procedures for Necker and IBO machines.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tag out procedures, chemical handling, machine guarding, housekeeping standards, SQF guidelines, and usage of personal protective equipment.
• Inspect machines to identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational faults.
• Manage changeovers or conversions by configuring equipment for different materials, sizes, or products.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on assigned equipment, report observations, and take necessary corrective actions.
• Apply 5S system principles to the workplace to optimize organization and efficiency.
• Strive to maximize production output while minimizing spoilage during manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications

• Mechanical diploma with a minimum of 3 years of formal education in the field.
• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in the use of hand tools with strong manual skills.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings accurately.
• Competent in computer usage for reporting and operational purposes.
• Strong mechanical understanding combined with computer literacy.
• Capable of preparing clear and concise reports.
