Automotive Cybersecurity Validation Engineer

Role Summary

This opportunity involves working on automotive cybersecurity validation, focusing on ECU architecture and security protocols within the automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate cybersecurity requirements related to automotive ECUs.
• Design, execute, and report on various test plans including functional, security, regression, and diagnostic testing.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing, ensuring thorough coverage of security aspects.
• Manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively during the validation lifecycle.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.

Technical Expertise

• Strong grasp of automotive ECU architecture and AUTOSAR Base Software components.
• Experience in diagnostic communication validation, secure diagnostics such as UDS (ISO 14229), security access, and authentication services.
• Knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet communications.
• Hands-on familiarity with network security measures, including Ethernet security and Linux firewall configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ISO/SAE 21434 (Foundation or Professional), CompTIA Security+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
