Automation Architect

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Automation Architect proficient in Selenium and Java for positions in Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, and Mumbai. This role requires a solid background in automation testing and DevOps practices, particularly involving CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable automation patterns using Selenium with strong Java skills.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including coding infrastructure components using CDK.
• Apply testing expertise in DevOps environments, ensuring integration with various tools and services.
• Create and enhance logging and exception handling frameworks to improve debugging and monitoring.
• Write and execute test scripts targeting web services, service integrations such as ServiceNow, OpenSearch, and AWS components.
• Validate log formats and data integrity across services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Selenium automation and Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code, specifically using CDK.
• Knowledge of DevOps testing methodologies and related tooling.
• Ability to develop robust logging and exception handling mechanisms.
• Experience testing web services and integrating with platforms like ServiceNow, OpenSearch, and AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Appium, TestComplete, Cyara, and REST API testing tools.
