Associate Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer with 1-3 years of experience, including internships or entry-level roles, to join our team on a contract basis in Markham, Ontario. Candidates should have a relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent in Networking, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide network configuration and troubleshooting support involving TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking basics.
• Perform hands-on hardware installation and technical support for network devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification or actively working towards it.
• Knowledge or exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with managing enterprise wireless network systems.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and use of network monitoring tools.
• Practical learning through home labs, internships, or projects that demonstrate networking knowledge.

Other Information

• The role requires full-time on-site presence, five days a week.
