Take the lead in expanding Rider Levett Bucknall's presence across Otago and Southland while enjoying one of New Zealand's most desirable lifestyles. Role Overview
This position calls for an accomplished cost professional prepared to assume a prominent regional leadership role, shaping RLB's future growth in the Otago and Southland regions. You will lead a team managing complex assignments including cost planning, estimating, procurement, risk advisory, value engineering, and contract administration. Building and nurturing trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders is critical, along with guiding the firm's strategic direction in the lower South Island, an area experiencing substantial growth in property and infrastructure sectors.
You will oversee the Quantity Surveying team located in Queenstown and Dunedin, collaborating closely with Directors on regional business strategy and performance enhancement.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in estimating and quantity surveying, including PQS qualifications.
- Proven leadership in cost management on major building projects within New Zealand.
- Skilled in managing client interactions and generating new business opportunities.
- Holds a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, preferably accredited by NZIQS or RICS.
- Capable of effectively managing and developing regional teams and business operations.
- Existing professional connections within the Otago and Southland markets are advantageous.
