Associate Director - Planning

We are currently supporting a large-scale, next-generation digital infrastructure programme in the region, collaborating with a prominent data centre developer. The programme involves intricate design coordination, quick delivery timelines, and strict governance protocols to fulfill the needs of a mission-critical environment. Our team applies global best practices in programme, project, and commercial management to develop durable, future-ready infrastructure at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice on complex project requirements by delivering clear analyses and recommending practical corrective strategies.
• Lead the planning and scheduling efforts for projects and programmes with medium to high complexity levels.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and other project control methods to enhance performance.
• Engage confidently with clients, project teams, and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Develop detailed plans and analyze trends using numerical and statistical methods to support decision-making.
• Assist senior leadership with negotiations, contract development, due diligence processes, and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate toward the collective goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions, and actively participate in identifying and managing associated carbon emissions reductions throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in construction, programme, project, or commercial management.
• Progress toward chartered status with a recognized professional institution.
• Expertise in schedule management software and tools.
• Solid experience in project controls and planning, ideally with prior client-side exposure and comprehensive knowledge of the entire development lifecycle.
• Proven working experience in the United Arab Emirates for client approval purposes.
