Associate - 3P Contractor (HR Operations)

Role Overview

EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, is inviting applications for the role of HR Operations Associate as a 3P contractor based in Gurugram. This position focuses on managing essential HR functions such as Background Verification (BGV), onboarding procedures, and probation management to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete Background Verification process by liaising with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage pre-boarding and onboarding activities including document collection, updating HRMS, and completing joining formalities.
• Organize and coordinate induction and orientation sessions for new employees.
• Monitor probation periods and handle the employee confirmation process efficiently.
• Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, and operational dashboards to ensure data integrity.
• Provide timely responses to employee inquiries related to onboarding and HR operations.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree holder with a minimum of 1 year of experience in HR operations.
• Proficient in Background Verification, onboarding, and probation/confirmation management.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
• Strong skills in MS Excel and HRMS platforms.
• Detail-focused with a strong sense of responsibility and proactive follow-up.
• Immediate joining candidates are preferred.

This role reports to the HR team at EY and involves working onsite in Gurugram. As a 3P contractor position, the candidate will contribute significantly to supporting the full cycle of employee onboarding and probation management to achieve operational excellence.
