Assistant Manager, Restaurant

Overview

We are hiring an Assistant Manager for a restaurant environment in Surrey, British Columbia. This role focuses on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting the team, and ensuring customers receive quality service.

Language Requirement

English is required for this position.

Education Requirement

A college, CEGEP, or similar non-university certificate/diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years is required.

Experience Requirement

Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience, but not more than 2 years, in a related setting.

Work Location

This is an on-site role. Work must be done at the physical location, and remote work is not available.

Key Duties

• Review how the restaurant is operating each day and identify improvements.
• Coordinate and structure daily workflows and store operations.
• Support hiring by helping recruit new staff members.
• Create and manage employee schedules.
• Track inventory and keep supplies organized.
• Make sure workplace health and safety rules are properly followed.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns professionally.
• Deliver strong customer service and support guest satisfaction.
• Assist with planning and running events.
