Job description
Position Overview
The Assistant Director: Application and Software is tasked with leading the development of the University's proprietary management information systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the University remains at the cutting edge of information and communication technology by implementing advanced software and applications aligned with the institution's vision and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Guide and oversee the creation and maintenance of in-house management systems tailored for university operations.
- Ensure the University is consistently adopting innovative ICT software solutions that bolster strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems, Software, or an equivalent credential complemented by at least five years of relevant work experience; or
- A Bachelor's degree in the same fields supplemented by no less than eight years of applicable experience.
- Sound knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory capacity.
