Area Manager - GL South

About the Role

Bajaj Finserv is seeking an Area Manager located in Shimoga, Karnataka, for an opportunity to take ownership of the company's productivity application aimed at elevating sales team performance across various business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize and enhance the company's productivity app by creating innovative features tailored to boost efficiency for sales teams within Bajaj Finance Ltd.
• Act as the product owner collaborating closely with IT to ensure delivery of high-quality software aligned with business needs.
• Engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders including business units and technical teams to gather and clarify business and technical requirements.
• Convert product strategy into comprehensive, detailed requirements and develop or review user stories to support development.
• Work in partnership with IT teams to guarantee timely deployment of new application features.
• Drive adoption and frequent usage of the Salesone application across various Bajaj Finance verticals through stakeholder liaison and support.
• Mentor and guide team members to produce high-quality contributions and outcomes.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields; an MBA qualification is preferred.
• Have 6 to 8 years of experience in product management within technology-driven or financial service organizations.
• Knowledge of financial technology, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), lending platforms, and B2C business models is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication along with strong interpersonal capabilities.
• Skilled at analyzing data to extract actionable insights and capable of working under pressure with self-motivation.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
• Experience in preparing clear and detailed documentation of functional requirements for IT development teams.
