We invite you to strengthen our Offenburg team as an apprentice Parquet Layer, responsible for creatively enhancing interiors with various flooring styles such as strip, mosaic, intarsia, or ship deck parquet. Your initial tasks will include measuring rooms and calculating material requirements, inspecting and preparing the subfloor, crafting a subfloor structure if needed, cutting parquet pieces accurately, and fitting them according to planned patterns. Additionally, you will advise customers on maintenance of flooring.

Training Details

The apprenticeship lasts three years, with possible shortening based on performance or academic background upon agreement.

What You Will Learn

• Designing and installing parquet and other wooden flooring as well as other floor coverings
• Determining and executing various laying patterns
• Restoring parquet and other wooden floors
• Treating surfaces of parquet floors and other coverings

Candidate Requirements

• A qualified school leaving certificate
• Manual dexterity and spatial imagination
• Enjoy interaction with people
• Responsible, meticulous, and team-oriented mindset
