About the Role

Welthungerhilfe, one of Germany's largest private organizations dedicated to development cooperation and humanitarian aid, is seeking an Application Manager CRM Solutions based in Bonn or Berlin, Germany. This full-time position, initially for two years with strong prospects for permanent employment, aims to support and evolve the organization's CRM infrastructure as part of its digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee the daily operation, administration, and enhancement of the SAP-based donor accounting and CRM system MFPlus, ensuring its availability, reliability, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Lead the advancement of the marketing and CRM technology landscape by managing platforms including Dymatrix DynaCampaign, Pipedrive, and Inxmail, facilitating process improvements, introducing new features, and promoting user adoption and automation.
  • Maintain high-quality data and ensure seamless integration among CRM, SAP ECC, and associated systems via vigilant monitoring, regular maintenance, and prompt problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders to analyze and optimize CRM-related business processes, spanning donor management, campaign execution, and relationship management, thereby enhancing efficiency and automation.
  • Serve as the primary interface between business users, project teams, external partners, and vendors, translating business requirements into system enhancements and ensuring consistent delivery of services.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and support partners, overseeing service quality, system performance, maintenance activities, and release schedules.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, user manuals, and conduct training sessions as well as knowledge-sharing initiatives for both key and end users.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Has 1–3 years of experience in application management, CRM administration, or process support, preferably within a non-profit or service-focused environment.
  • Demonstrates experience with CRM or campaign management tools such as Dynacampaign, MFPlus, Pipedrive, or SAP.
  • Possesses a good understanding of donor management, fundraising, or campaign operations is advantageous.
  • Exhibits the ability to effectively translate business needs into technical system requirements, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Shows proactivity, analytical thinking, structured working methods, and enjoys coordinating across departments and with external partners, taking ownership from concept to implementation.
  • Is eager to deepen expertise in CRM, particularly in DynaCampaign, and develop subject matter expertise in MFPlus.
  • Fluency in both German and English (verbal and written) is required to interact confidently with stakeholders, users, and external parties.
