Assistant Project Manager - Mumbai Central & West

Job Objective

The role involves overseeing project execution in line with the brand's business strategies and trade team objectives. This includes managing diverse teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of retail store projects across various brands, focusing specifically on the repair and maintenance operations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Context and Challenges

• Operating in geographical locations that may be difficult due to remoteness, impacting store openings.
• Significant travel time influencing total working hours.
• Collaborating with new franchise vendors for each project, necessitating vendor education to maintain consistent store aesthetics and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing store openings and renovations from Work Completion Date (WCD) to Hand Over to Vendor Management (HOTVM) for both Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) and Company Owned Franchise Operated (COFO) stores utilizing only registered vendors.
• Planning work schedules, conducting frequent site inspections, and coordinating with all stakeholders including Visual Merchandising (VM), design teams, landlords, franchises, Regional Business Development (RBD) teams, multiple vendors, and operations.
• Organizing project steering meetings, preparing project status reports, and completing documentation such as site visit reports, checklists, and handover documents.
• Soliciting estimates from vendors, reviewing them, and forwarding to the commercial team for Purchase Order (PO) creation. Target timeline for project completion is 39 days.
• Developing vendor base in accordance with forecasted demands, including onboarding at least two new vendors within the area as needed.
• Ensuring standardized quality of work across all store projects.
• Overseeing repair and maintenance activities ensuring they are done promptly and effectively.
• Scheduling and ensuring timely completion of all projects and associated snag lists, resolving all issues within stipulated timelines.
