Role Overview
This unique position sits at the convergence of artificial intelligence and financial services business development. The intern will operate a cutting-edge AI-driven outreach engine designed to identify and engage key decision-makers at banks throughout the region. This role replaces and enhances a previous model managed by an external contractor.
Working closely with the Sales team, you will use AI technologies to perform comprehensive research on targeted banks, pinpoint key contacts, craft personalized outreach communications, and oversee the incoming responses. This is a hands-on role from day one, focused on running a live, revenue-generating outreach program leveraging AI — far beyond traditional internship tasks such as document handling and spreadsheet formatting.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AI-powered research tools to conduct extensive, simultaneous investigations of target banks and identify key decision-makers relevant to Evooq’s business.
- Maintain an accurate and organized prospect database categorized by bank, region, and decision-maker hierarchy.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to draft and review tailored connection requests and follow-up messages for each prospect using AI assistance.
- Execute outreach campaigns while managing inbox activity and ensuring daily messaging volumes are within safe thresholds to protect account integrity.
- Compile and present weekly pipeline reports summarizing sales engagement status and progress.
- Document and refine each step of the outreach process to establish clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Profile
You are a penultimate or final-year undergraduate student enrolled at a Singapore university, ideally pursuing Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Information Systems, or related disciplines. However, students from any faculty demonstrating enthusiasm and aptitude in AI and business development are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate blends a commercial mindset with comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Manus) without the need for programming skills. Strong written English communication skills are essential, with the ability to adapt tone and style for senior financial audiences. Organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive amid ambiguity are critical as this involves creating new processes rather than following preset instructions.
