Advisor - Business Development

About the Role

EDGE Group is looking for a seasoned Advisor in Business Development and Strategic Growth to lead initiatives that advance strategic business across their extensive defense and technology sectors. This pivotal position involves close collaboration with business development leadership to pinpoint, refine, and secure key strategic opportunities across multiple domains including land, air, maritime, and electronic warfare.

Key Responsibilities and Scope

• Support leadership in identifying and shaping key strategic growth avenues within defense markets.
• Leverage deep expertise in military operations and emerging technology trends to influence customer requirements and enhance business proposals.
• Drive efforts to maximize synergies across different business clusters, fostering cross-domain opportunities.
• Engage proactively with senior stakeholders across military, governmental, and industrial sectors to bolster strategic partnerships.

Qualifications and Expertise

• A minimum of ten years’ experience in military operations, defense business development, strategic consultancy, or aligned roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of military concepts of operations (CONOPS), defense procurement processes, and international defense market dynamics.
• Proficiency in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, electronic warfare, and next-generation defense solutions.
• Outstanding ability to engage and influence high-level military, government, and industry executives.
• Academic credentials comprising a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Strategic Studies, International Security, or a related discipline.
