Role Overview
As an Account Manager based preferably in Taranaki, New Zealand, your primary responsibility will be delivering tailored programs and services that support customers in decreasing water and energy use, enhancing product quality, boosting profitability, and preserving natural resources. You will develop strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their business needs and creating water management solutions customized to their specific operations. The position involves visiting client locations across the region, learning their processes in detail, and collaborating closely with the technical support team to devise innovative solutions. Regular travel including overnight stays is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized water management programs to improve customer outcomes.
- Engage proactively with clients to understand their business drivers and needs.
- Conduct on-site visits to analyze client processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with technical experts to develop and deliver innovative water-related solutions.
- Drive sales through consultative relationship-building and solution selling.
- Manage multiple client accounts effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Practical knowledge of water treatment systems.
- Experience managing several customer accounts is advantageous.
- Tertiary qualification in chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders including senior executives.
- Effective relationship-building capabilities.
- Eagerness and ability to learn continuously.
