Account Manager II, SMB, Google Cloud

About the Role

The Google Cloud Platform team empowers customers to revolutionize their businesses through advanced cloud technology, providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that spans from hardware to applications. This team supports a diverse clientele, including small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), startups, educational institutions, and government bodies, to harness the benefits of cloud innovation.

The SMB focus is on engaging with startups, digital natives, and SMBs by managing complex customer relationships while promoting Google's extensive product suite.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of existing Google Cloud clients to sustain and expand business engagements.
• Collaborate with partners to identify and develop new business prospects within current customers.
• Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities across Google products and services.
• Convey customer insights and feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to enhance user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in sales, client relationship building, or account management.
• Proficient English communication skills to effectively support regional clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in technology sales with a focus on cultivating existing business customer relationships and increasing revenue.
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual compensation ranges from $68,500 to $98,000 USD, supplemented by a 66.67% bonus target, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
