The firm has grown to about 60 employees and features a high-performing account management team that has consistently exceeded its sales targets for the past six consecutive quarters. The Opportunity
This position is designed for early-career professionals eager to develop as Account Managers within a team known for top performance. You will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with sophisticated clients while gaining in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings and market dynamics. Ideal candidates are intellectually sharp, highly motivated, and have a history of exceptional performance in previous roles. Previous account management experience is not mandatory; individuals from business development or investment associate backgrounds seeking advancement toward account management are encouraged to apply. This role reports directly to the lead of the account management division.
Responsibilities
- Manage and foster growth within a defined clientele portfolio.
- Focus on customer retention and account expansion opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product suite and investment data landscape to provide insightful guidance to clients.
- Work closely with product development and operational departments to enhance client satisfaction and outcomes.
- Help maintain a team legacy of consistently surpassing sales goals.
Requirements
- Between one and three years of professional experience, preferably within startups or data/venture capital domains.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly express ideas and information.
- Possess at least three of the following attributes: strong academic foundation, experience in startup environments, competitive athletic backgrounds, rigorous academic majors, or technical proficiency.
- Driven, with a steep growth trajectory and ambition to excel as a top-tier account manager.
- Additional advantage for candidates with exposure to investment professionals or data-centric products.
