Account Executive

Role Overview

PATSCO, a Qatar-based supplier of industrial, MRO, and engineering solutions, is expanding its finance team in Doha and is seeking an organized and dependable Accounts Executive. This role suits someone with solid accounting experience who can handle day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Review supplier bills, validate them, and make sure payments are processed on time.
• Create customer invoices and monitor overdue receivables until settlement.
• Keep the records for accounts payable and accounts receivable up to date.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and keep track of cash movement.
• Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams on transaction-related matters.
• Support month-end closing work, financial statements, and audit activities.
• Organize accounting records and maintain proper filing and documentation.
• Assist with inventory-related accounting and project accounting tasks.
• Follow company finance rules, controls, and procedures at all times.

Required Background and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related subject.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in an industrial, MRO, trading, or engineering setting.
• Advanced SAP experience is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Strong grasp of accounting concepts and financial reporting practices.
• Good analytical thinking, planning, and communication abilities.
• Comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams.
• High standards of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Location and Joining Expectations

• The role is based in Doha, Qatar and is intended for candidates already residing in Qatar.
• Immediate availability is preferred, and candidates who can join right away will be prioritized.
