About the Company
Our mission is to empower everyone to grow their wealth. We innovate trading and investment experiences by building exceptional products that customers adore. With a dedicated culture emphasizing excellence and rapid development, we currently serve over 6 million clients managing assets exceeding €40 billion, demonstrating the considerable scale and trust earned in a short time.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled 3D Artist to lead the creation of Trading 212's 3D brand identity for the upcoming 2026 visual design. Your responsibilities will involve modeling, texturing, and optimizing animation-ready 3D assets derived from approved concepts, storyboards, and banner briefs. Collaborating closely with the design and motion teams, you will translate creative guidance into finished, on-brand 3D output. This role is heavily production-focused and offers the unique chance to shape and implement a new 3D brand system rather than adapting an existing pipeline.
You will take ownership of the 3D craft for a brand identity that reaches a wide and expanding audience, concentrating on a specialized area rather than broad tasks. Working alongside an established graphic and motion design team, you will have creative freedom within the system and meaningful influence on how the new 3D aesthetic is developed from inception.
Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and textures based on provided concepts, references, and storyboard materials.
- Develop and manage custom materials and textures aligned with the brand system.
- Optimize geometry, topology, and materials to assure smooth animation and efficient rendering.
- Deliver a consistent and reliable volume of production-ready 3D assets.
- Prepare and hand over clean, animation-ready assets to the motion design team, maintaining organized workflows including templates, naming conventions, and render presets.
- Utilize Cinema 4D with Redshift rendering pipeline for asset creation and presentation.
Requirements
- Professional-level proficiency in Cinema 4D.
- Experience with Redshift or similar rendering engines covering lighting, look development, and rendering optimization.
- Expertise in crafting custom materials and textures.
- Strong skills in clean topology and asset optimization specific to animation needs.
- Ability to independently transform concepts or storyboards into fully animation-ready 3D scenes without daily supervision.
- Comfortable adhering to creative direction while maintaining a steady production output.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of rigging techniques including skeletons, controls, and clean weight painting to ensure assets are animation-ready and minimize revisions with the motion team.
- Experience with Substance Painter for advanced texturing.
- Familiarity with Houdini for procedural asset creation involving geometry, patterns, distributions, and dynamics, integrating processed assets into the Cinema 4D workflow.
- Python or scripting skills used for pipeline automation.
- Experience with AI-assisted tools for asset and texture iteration such as Meshy or Substance Sampler enhanced by AI technologies.
- Background in motion design including particle, cloth, and other simulation effects.
Benefits
- Engaging challenges that foster personal and professional growth.
- Significant opportunity to influence innovative services impacting millions globally.
- Collaborate with talented, driven team members sharing common objectives.
- Recognition and appreciation of your skills and ideas.
- Competitive salary package complemented by annual bonuses.
- Comprehensive social benefits including private health insurance, sports card, and 25 vacation days annually.
- Access to delicious snacks and a large game room for relaxation.
