About the Internship

This remote, part-time internship is designed to help candidates build practical exposure in medical coding while being guided by a mentor. The role focuses on learning coding standards, working through sample healthcare records, and developing accuracy in assigning diagnostic and procedure codes.

What You’ll Do

• Study medical coding rules and guidelines with support from a mentor.
• Examine sample medical records and pick the appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Support the preparation of accurately coded healthcare documents.
• Handle real-world case studies and hands-on practice assignments.
• Join training sessions, workshops, and evaluation activities.
• Complete project-oriented tasks to strengthen practical understanding.
• Keep patient and medical information confidential and ensure high accuracy while working with records.

Who Can Apply

This opportunity is open to applicants who can work from home, are able to begin between 8th Jul'26 and 12th Aug'26, and can commit to a 2-month internship. Candidates should also have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the field.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 5,000 to INR 10,000.
