Internship Overview
Join Your CFO as a Chartered Accountancy (CA) intern and gain hands-on exposure across various accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. This comprehensive internship offers a practical experience in handling day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end closures, and management information systems (MIS) for multiple clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks including ledger reviews and month-end journal entries across diverse client portfolios.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly closure processes covering revenue, expenses, accruals, provisions, and prepaid accounting.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, debtor/creditor accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Support preparation of financial statements such as Profit & Loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements along with detailed schedules for finalization.
- Compile monthly MIS reports, highlighting variance analysis, trends, and critical financial metrics for management review.
- Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails adhering to internal quality and documentation standards.
- Support financial reporting under applicable accounting frameworks (GAAP & Ind AS), including preparing consolidated financials and handling Ind AS 116 lease accounting.
- Engage in tax-related activities including filing income tax returns for individuals and entities, GST return preparations, TDS computations, and compliance with tax audit requirements.
- Assist with FEMA-related filings and cross-border compliance procedures including FDI and ODI documentation.
- Help manage SEBI compliance aspects for regulated entities such as investment advisors and AIFs, including preparation of compliance calendars and board reports.
- Conduct various financial analyses including ratio analysis, trend evaluations, and working capital assessments to support advisory services.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards and ethics, maintaining confidentiality and proper working documentations throughout assignments.
Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Candidates must be available for a full-time, in-office internship spanning 24 months.
