About the Internship

FreighAI is an AI-driven platform designed to exponentially enhance the operational capability of freight forwarding and logistics companies without increasing their workforce. Instead of replacing personnel, it boosts each team member's productivity fivefold by automating 85% of operational tasks and providing data-driven insights to improve decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Reach out promptly (within 48 hours) to all qualified companies identified via marketing channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Organize founder-led group sessions by inviting suitable companies, managing registrations, sending timely reminders, and handling event logistics.
Follow up with participants after sessions within 24 hours to convert group attendees into individual meetings.
Optimize attendance by coordinating confirmations, reminders, reschedules, and reducing no-shows.
Schedule and oversee follow-up one-on-one meetings to maintain engagement throughout the companies' decision processes.
Keep inactive prospects engaged by regular contact, ensuring no lead is left unattended for over 10 days.
Prepare founders for meetings by gathering company insights and updating CRM data within 24 hours after interactions.
Maintain and nurture assigned company accounts to foster ongoing relationships and sustained engagement.
Ensure target company participation in monthly founder-led group events.
Conduct introductory one-to-one meetings to understand new companies' needs and relationship-building.
Manage follow-up meetings to deepen client relations and advance business prospects.
Meet monthly goals for engagements, meetings, and follow-ups while preserving high standards of customer communication.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must be available for a full-time, onsite internship in Pune.
The internship start date should be between July 28, 2026, and September 1, 2026.
Applicants should commit to a 6-month internship duration.
Relevant skills and interests in business development or sales are essential.
Women returning to or starting their career are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should be either based in Pune or willing to relocate for an onsite role.

Skills and Preferences

Proficient follow-up skills with a proactive and persistent mindset.
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple prospects at once.
Fluency in English and Hindi required; knowledge of Marathi is beneficial.
Previous experience in sales, business development, customer-facing roles, event management, sponsorships, or family-run businesses is advantageous.
Comfortable utilizing AI tools for research and daily tasks.
Strong interest in developing a career in business development or commercial roles.
MBA qualification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Stipend ranges from ₹35,000 to ₹57,000 monthly, comprising a fixed pay of ₹25,000 to ₹32,000 and incentives between ₹10,000 and ₹25,000.
Successful interns may receive a job offer with a salary ranging from ₹420,000 to ₹600,000 annually.
Additional perks include a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation, informal dress code, and free snacks and beverages.
