Role Overview
We seek a DevOps Intern to assist our engineering team in constructing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure along with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This internship offers practical experience with cloud services, automation tools, and contemporary DevOps methodologies within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help establish and sustain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications.
- Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Engage in containerization and basic orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system uptime, performance metrics, and logs while contributing to problem troubleshooting.
- Automate repetitive operations through scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
- Collaborate with both frontend and backend teams to enhance deployment processes.
- Document infrastructure setups, operational procedures, and utilized tools.
Prerequisites
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic comprehension of Docker or container technologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong analytical skills with a motivated and eager-to-learn attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Basic networking knowledge including DNS, HTTP, and load balancing concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
